Stonehill College

Roland Fiore, who graduated in 1983, played forthe late Head Coach Tom Folliard’s men’s basketballsquads in the early days of the Northeast-7.  He is honoredfor both his basketball accomplishments and his many contributionsto the continued success of athletics at the College. Fiore, theMost Valuable Player in Stonehill’s run to the Northeast-7tournament crown in 1981, averaged 11.4 points and 6.3 reboundsduring his three-year career, including 13.1 points per game and7.2 rebounds per game during his sophomore campaign that saw himearn all-Northeast-7 accolades. During his sophomore and juniorseasons, the Skyhawks posted back-to-back undefeated marks inconference play and advanced to the NCAA Division IItournament.
