Stonehill College

Frank Strachan first excelled as a player on Stonehill'sclub football team. In 1988, the team went varsity and Frankcontinued to turn heads as a triple-treat. In two years, he setseveral rushing records that stood for many years. His greatestmoment came during the last game of his senior year in the firstEastern Collegiate Football Conference Championship. In Stonehill's24-12 win over Bentley, Frank rushed for 88 yards, punted ninetimes at an average of 35 yards each, and threw the clinchingtouchdown pass, a 51-yard bomb to Dan Smith in the fourthquarter.
