(July 10, 2012) – Stonehill College junior Paige Frost (Brigantine, N.J./Holy Spirit) headlines a list of nine Northeast-10 Conference Academic All-Conference selections from the spring sports season as she has also been named the Scholar-Athlete Sport Excellence award winner for women’s tennis by the Conference.

Trio Of Skyhawks Earn Capital One Academic All-District Honors
EASTON, Mass. (June 5, 2012) – Three members of the Stonehill College women’s cross country and track & field teams have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District I Women’s Track/Cross Country Team as selected by the NCAA Division II College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) members from the East Region. Seniors Jill Alves (Whitman, Mass./Whitman-Hanson) and Maura Ferrarini (Springfield, Mass./Cathedral) have earned their second-career selections to an All-District Team while junior Caroline McBride (North Reading, Mass./North Reading) collects her first-career honors.

(May 12, 2012) – The Stonehill College women's track and field team, ranked fourth in this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II East Regional ratings index, placed 18th overall out of 35 teams in the conclusion of the 2012 New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEIAAA) Outdoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), at Henry G. Steinbrenner Stadium on Saturday evening.

Stonehill 4x800 Relay Team Shatters School Record At 117th Penn Relays
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 28, 2012) – Freshman Maria Curit (Biddeford, Maine/Biddeford), senior Jill Alves (Whitman, Mass./Whitman-Hanson), freshman Sarah Wilson (West Suffield, Conn./Suffield) and senior Christen Carrier (Manchester, N.H./Manchester Central) teamed up to break the Stonehill College women’s outdoor track and field 4x800-meter relay record by more than ten seconds with a 13th place showing at the 177th edition of the Penn Relays, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania, at historic Franklin Field on Saturday evening.

Five Stonehill Student-Athletes Spend Summer in College’s SURE Program
EASTON, Mass. (August 24, 2011) – Five Stonehill College student-athletes recently concluded eight and ten week research projects as part of the Stonehill Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program. The five student-athletes have spent the bulk of their summer break by joining 44 fellow students at the College in working with 26 faculty members.
