Craig Earns ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District First Team Honors

EASTON, Mass. (April 8, 2010) – Two members of the Stonehill College women’s lacrosse team, ranked sixth in this week’s Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches’ Association (IWLCA) Division II poll, have earned weekly honors from the Northeast-10 Conference this week. Sophomore attack Sarah Galligan (West Newbury, Mass./Pentucket Regional) was named the Northeast-10’s Player of the Week for the first time, while Rebecca Moore (Marlborough, Mass./Saint Mark’s School) earned NE-10 Goalkeeper and Freshman of the Week accolades and was also selected as Division II Rookie of the Week by womenslacrosse.com.

(March 25, 2010) – Stonehill College, ranked seventh in this week’s Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II poll, scored six of the game’s final eight goals to rally for a 13-11 victory over Merrimack College in Northeast-10 Conference women’s lacrosse action at W.B. Mason Stadium this afternoon. Stonehill and Merrimack joined 34 other Division II teams across the country to participate in the Lax 4 Life program to benefit the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation. The College collected donationa during the game for the foundation.
