2011-12: All-New England (4x800m). All-Northeast-10 (4x800m). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). USTFCCCA East Region (800 Meters). Competed in seven races and five relays during the season. Placed fifth overall along with teammates Patrick Cooney, Christopher Dooley and Justin Blaszczyk in the 4x800-meter relay at the New England Championships (2/25/12) in a time of 7:41.53 to earn All-New England honors. Finished second overall in the 4x800-meter run at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) in a total time of 8:01.69 to claim All-NE-10 accolades. Also, ranked sixth overall in the 500-meter run at the NE-10 Championships with a time of 1:06.23, a personal best time in the event. Finished first overall in his first collegiate race - the 800-meter run - with a time of 1:57.65 at the Jay Carisella Invitational on December 3, 2011. Ranked fourth overall in the 500-meter run at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (1/21/12) with a time of 1:09.95. Placed ninth overall in the 1,000-meter run at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11) in 2:37.84.
High School: 2011 graduate of North Reading High School. Four-year letter winner in track and field (indoor and outdoor) and three-year letter winner in cross country. Captain of 2011 indoor team. Cape Ann League All-Star in 2010 for 300 meters and 400 meters. Cape Ann League All-Star in 2011 for 100 meters and 200 meters. Personal best times include 10.8 (100 meters), 22.6 (200 meters), 36.39 (300 meters), 49.8 (400 meters) and 1:54.95 (800 meters).
Personal: Born on November 11, 1992 in Boston, Mass. Son of Loretta and Joseph Capezzuto of North Reading, Mass. Has one sister, Madison (15) and one brother, Justin (9). Lists greatest sports moment as winning the 2011 MIAA Division 4 Outdoor Championships 800 meters race on his own track. Majoring in History with a minor in Secondary Education. Hobbies include the Philosophy and History Society and being a DJ at WSAL.
