MANCHESTER, N.H.-- Senior Jeremy Bradshaw (St. Thomas, Barbados) netted a pair of goals and fellow senior Sherwin Merryman (St. Patrick’s, Grenada) added a goal and an assist to lead Southern New Hampshire to a 3-1 Northeast-10 Conference men’s soccer victory over Stonehill Wednesday evening at Larkin Field.

Bradshaw tallied both of his markers in the first 18:14 of action to give the host Penmen (3-1, 1-1 Northeast-10) the only goals they would need on the evening, and Merryman converted off a corner kick with 4:14 remaining in the opening half for a 3-0 Southern New Hampshire advantage at the break. Senior Kevin Flaherty’s (Duxbury, Mass.) unassisted goal 1:19 into the second half of play got the visiting Skyhawks on the board, but that was as close as Stonehill would come in the contest.

Sophomore Brendan Joseph (Bedford, N.H.) chipped in with a pair of assists in the win for Southern New Hampshire, which also received single assists from sophomore Gabe Mercier (Middleboro, Mass.) and freshman Derek Arsenault (Greenville, R.I.). Sophomore Dan Pelc (Hamilton, Ont.) picked up the win in goal for the hosts without making a save, while senior Chad Etting (Plymouth, Conn.) made 10 stops in net for Stonehill as the Penmen outshot the Skyhawks by a 20-3 margin for the match.

Stonehill hosts New Haven in a non-league outing on Saturday afternoon at Skyhawk Field beginning at 3:00 p.m., while Southern New Hampshire travels to Smithfield, R.I. on Saturday afternoon to take on Bryant in a Northeast-10 match that begins at Noon.
