Previous College: Played two seasons at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. 2009-10: Played 20 games, averaging 3.2 minutes per game, with team that was 23-10 and participated in the NIT. Totaled seven points, eight rebounds, an assist, two blocked shots and two steals. Made collegiate debut with seven minutes in win over Hartford (11/13), grabbing a rebound. Netted a season-high two points on three occasions. Pulled down a season-high two rebounds with a blocked shot in win at Central Connecticut State (1/14). 2010-11: Appeared in 29 games, starting 15, for Bobcats team that went 22-10. Averaged 2.1 points, 1.3 rebounds in 9.5 minutes per game, also totaled 11 assists, nine blocks and six steals. Started the Bobcats first 11 games. Posted five points, three rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot in first career start in win over Yale (11/13). Had six points on 3-of-4 shooting in win over Saint Francis (1/29). Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds with five points in win at Saint Francis (2/3). Capped season with a career-high 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting and five rebounds over 22 minutes against Buffalo (3/14).
High School: 2009 graduate of Towson Catholic High School, but also attended DeMatha Catholic High School, in Maryland. Played for Mike Jones and Josh Pratt. Helped DeMatha to a 20-10 record in his season there.
Personal: Born February 6, 1991, in London, England. Son of Elle May and Leo Thompson of London. Father won a gold medal with the English National Team at Commonwealth Games. Majoring in communication. Supports Arsenal Football Club. Lists Theirry Henry as a favorite athlete.
