2010: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters.
2009: Started all 22 games, recording a team-high two defensive saves. Part of a defense which led the NE-10 in team goals against average (1.14) and posted six shutouts.
2008: ZAG/NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. NE-10 All-Conference Second Team. Started all 21 games. Led the Skyhawks with two defensive saves, good for ninth in the NE-10. Part of a defensive unit which ranked third in the NE-10 with a 1.31 team goals against average and fourth with five shutouts.
2007: NFHCA Division II National Academic Squad. Saw action in four contests off the bench. Part of a defensive unit which ranked second in the NE-10 with a 1.14 team goals against average and seven shutouts. Shared the team lead with two defensive saves.
High School: 2007 honors graduate of Goffstown High School. Three-year letterwinner for coach Jess Brown, serving as team captain her senior year. Two-time NHIAA first-team All-State honoree. Recipient of the NHIAA Sportsmanship Award in 2005. Named team's Most Improved Player in 2004 and Coach's Award recipient in 2006. Participant in the Twin States All-Star Game following her senior year. Named an NHIAA Female Scholar-Athlete in 2007. Also lettered in softball and swimming, captaining both teams. Goffstown High Female Athlete of the Year in 2007. National Honor Society Vice President.
Personal: Born June 19, 1989, Manchester, N.H. Daughter of Mary and George Gifford of Goffstown, N.J. Has two sisters, Hannah (13) and Shannon (6), and a brother, Matt (19). Father played ice hockey and football at Plymouth State. Brother plays ice hockey and baseball at Keene State. Majoring in biology. Member of the College's Biology Society. HOPE participant. Plans to attend grad school and eventually pursue a career as a nurse practitioner or physician's assistant. Supports the Boston Red Sox. Lists Michael Phelps as a favorite athlete.
