EASTON, Mass. (September 23, 2025) – Senior forward
Hannah Anselmo of the Stonehill College women's soccer team has been recognized on the national stage after being named to Top Drawer Soccer's Women's Team of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
Anselmo, who was also honored as the NEC Co-Player of the Week on Monday, earned the accolade following her standout performance in Stonehill's 5-1 victory over Saint Francis University on Sunday. She recorded the first hat trick of the program's NCAA Division I era—and the first overall since Camryn Thompson netted three against Maine Fort Kent on October 16, 2021. With six goals this season, Anselmo leads the NEC in goals (6), shot attempts (35), and points per game (1.33), while ranking among the nation's top 30 goal scorers.
Anselmo was the lone NEC representative on this week's Top Drawer Soccer Women's Team of the Week, while fellow NEC standout Ana Salas of FDU was named an honorable mention. Anselmo joins a group of student-athletes from powerhouse programs across the country, including the SEC, Big Ten, and Big 12.
