A Brockton High School graduate, Christine Pecevich is credited with helping establish women's soccer as a valid varsity sport. A member of the team from 1984-1987, Pecevich helped Stonehill get through some tough seasons. Pecevich set several records, including the all-time leader in minutes played (6,286), all-time leader in saves in a season (291, her junior year), and career-leader in saves (597). In 1985, she recorded three consecutive shutouts en route to record six shutouts that year, a school record. As a senior, she allowed only 0.92 goals per game and finished her career with a record 1.55 GAA.
