May 11, 2003 - Stonehill College claimed their first Women's Lacrosse NCAA National Championship defeating Longwood, 9-8.  Freshman Erin Acone scored three times and added an assist.

2006 (Freshman): Placed 27th with a time of 19:38 over the 5K layout at the Connecticut College Invitational (9/9), NE-10 Freshman of the Week (9/11), placed 46th with a time of 19:51 over the 3.1K layout at the UMASS Dartmouth Invitational (9/16), 13th place with a time of 19:44 at the 39th Annual Codfish Bowl Harrier Classic (9/23), NE-10 Freshman of the Week (9/25), paced the Skyhawk women by placing third overall in covering the 5K layout in a time of 20:31 at the Bryant Invitational (9/30), placed 124th with a time of 19:28 at the New England Championships (10/7), earned third team all-conference accolades by placing 20th with a time of 20:12 at the 2006 Northeast-10 Conference Championships.

At Simsbury High School: Three year varsity starter on the cross country team... Four year start starter for track... Voted captains of both teams in 2005 and 2006... Received All-Conference Honors in both sports... Cross Country All-Star Honors in 2004... Won New England Conference Championship three times... Honor roll student... Volunteered at church.
