2011-12: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Spring Semester). Edwin H. Sutherland Honor Society. Competed in three individual events on the season. Posted a time of 9.50 seconds in the 55 meter hurdles in the prelims at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12). Ran a time of 10.31 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12). Posted a time of 9.32 seconds in the prelims at the NE-10 Championships (2/18/12).
2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Finished 11th overall in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.03 at the Tufts Stamepede. Also posted a time of 10.60 in the 60 meter hurdles at the Harvard Invitational. Ran the 55 meter hurdles three times during the season highlighted by a season-best performance of 9.24 in the prelims of the NE-10 championships. Had a time of 9.40 at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet and a time of 9.42 at the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games. Ran a split of 29.8 in the 4x200 meter relay at the Tufts Stampede (1:54.43). Ran a split of 67.2 in the 4x400 meter relay at the Tufts Stampede. Also participated in the pole vault during the season.
2009-10: Placed ninth in the 60m hurdles (9.82 seconds) at the Harvard Invitational. Finished third in the 55m hurdles at the Wheaton Invitational in 9.28 seconds. Placed second overall in the 55m hurdles with a time of 9.05 seconds at the Tufts Stampede. Member of the 4000m distance medley relay team which finished second at the NE-10 Championships in 12:47.67. Also finished sixth overall in the 55m hurdles in 9.01 seconds.
2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. Posted a personal bst time of 16.06 in the 110 hurdles at the Bridgewater State University Invitational finishing in second place. Also competed in the 110 hurdles six other times during the season at the Bryant University Invitational (16.63, 12th overall), at the George Davis Invitational (17.15), the UMass Minutemen Invitational (16.17, sixth overall), the Larry Ellis Invitational (16.94), the Skyhawk Invitational (16.34, seventh overall) and the NE-10 championships (16.70). Finished eighth overall at the NE-10 championships in the 400 hurdles in 1:09.87, a personal best. Competed in the 400 hurdles five other times during the season highlighted by a fourth place finish at the Bridgewater State University Invitational (1:14.94). Ran a time of 1:11.68 at the George Davis Invitational, a time of 1:11.05 at the UMass Minutemen Invitational (seventh overall), an 1:11.16 performace at the Larry Ellis Invitational and a 1:10.02 time at the Skyhawk Invitational (fifth overall).
High School: 2009 honors graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. Four-year letterwinner for outdoor and indoor track and cross country, serving as captain for two years. Earned MVP during spring season and Coaches Award. Atlantic Coast League (ACL) 100 meter champion her senior year, 300 meter champion her junior year. Earned ACL Sportsmanship Award for cross country. National Honor Society Member. Student Ambassadors member.
Personal: Born September 19, 1990, Attleboro, Mass. Daughter of John and Rosanna Burke of South Yarmouth, Mass. Has two siblings, Bailey (18) and Anthony (16). Majoring in criminology and foreign languages (Italian/Spanish). Grandfather played golf at Stonehill. Supports the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics. Lists Lo Lo Jones as favorite athlete. Track team's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative. Completed a semester at the Granada Institute of International Studies in Spain (Fall 2011).
