Indoor Season

2011-12: Capital One Academic All-American.1,000-meter & 4x800-meter NE-10 Champion. All-Northeast-10 (1000m & 4x800). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). USTFCCCA East Region (Distance Medley Relay). Capital One Academic All-District I selection (Cross Country and Track & Field). Competed in four individual races and four relays throughout the season. Successfully defended her invidiual title in the 1,000 meter run at the NE-10 Championships with a time of 3:00.96. Helped Stonehill to a school record and NCAA provisionally qualifying time in the distance medley relay at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/11/12). Ran the 1,200-meter lead leg of the event in 3:42. Set a new school record in the event along with teammates Maria Curit, Sarah Wilson and Maura Ferrarini. Established a new NE-10 Championships record in the 4x800 meter relay with teammates Erin Rielly, Elizabeth LaRegina and Sarah Wilson. Opened up the 4x800 meter relay with a 2:22 split. Set a personal best time in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:21.08 at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12). Posted a fourth place finish in the 1,000 meter run at the UNH Tri-Meet in 3:08.35 (1/21/12). Ran a time of 5:14.94 in the one mile run at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12). Helped Stonehill's 4x800 meter relay "A Team" run a total time of 10:04.20 at the UNH Tri Meet (1/21/12). Finished fourth overall along with teammates Maria Curit, Christen Carrier and Maura Ferrarini on the distance medley relay team in a total time of 12:31.40 at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12).

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. USTFCCCA All-East Region selection. Capital One Academic All-District I selection (Cross Country and Track & Field). Finished first in the 1,000 meter run at the NE-10 championships in a time of 3:00.28. Her time of 5:09.73 was third in the East Region in the mile. She also competed in the one mile run three other times during the season at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (third overall, 5:15.19), the Tufts Stampede (second overall, 5:19.30) and New England's (5:20.07). Placed 11th overall at the New England Championships in the 4x800 meter relay in a time of 9:30.57. Posted a 2:22.0 split in the 4x800 meter relay that narrowly missed the school record of 9:29.14. Also competed in the 4x800 meter relay two other times during the season at the UNH Tri-Meet (10:07.24) and the NE-10 championships (second overall, 9:50.79). Ran in the distance medley relay twice at the Boston University Valentine Classic and the Reebok Boston Collegiate Indoor Games.

2009-10: All-New England (indoor 1000m). NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll (3/2). Placed 7th in the 5000m (19:12.49) at the Wheaton College Invitational. Finished 14th of 42 runners with a time of 5:13.64 in the mile at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games. Member of the 4000m distance medley relay team which won the event at the Tufts Stampede with a time of 12:18.86, provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division II Championships. Also finished second in the 1000m in 3:05.14. Member of the 4x800m relay team which won the NE-10 Championship in 9:48.43, and placed third in the 1000m (2:58.89) to qualify for the New England Championships. Broke the school record in the 1000m at the New England Championships, placing eighth overall in 2:56.24.

2008-09: Placed 10th in the mile in 5:32.49 at the Rhody Indoor Track Classic. Finished 19th in the mile at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games with a time of 5:24.69. Took sixth in the mile (5:34.44) and second as part of the 4000m distance medley relay (13:12.46) at the NE-10 indoor championships.

Outdoor Season

2010-11: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. Finished first overall in the 1,500 meter run at the Bridgewater State University Invitational in a time of 4:53.41. Helped Stonehill to an eighth place finish overall in the 4x800 meter relay at the New England championships in 9:32.17 and first place at the NE-10 championships (9:45.04). Competed in the 1,500 meter three other times during the outdoor season at the George Davis Invitational (5:07.89), the Larry Ellis Invitational (4:57.47) and the NE-10 championships (sixth overall, 4:58.86). Placed fifth overall in the 800 meter run at the Skyhawk Invitational in 2:19.81.

High School: 2008 graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School. Letterwinner and team captain for cross country and track. Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection in cross country. Awarded Atlantic Coast League All-Star honors in both cross country and track. Selected Team MVP in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track.

Personal: Born December 12, 1989, Whitman, Mass. Daughter of Sheila and Ken Alves of Whitman. Has a brother, Richard (22). Majoring in psychology. Also a member of the cross country team, where she was the 2008 Northeast-10 Women's Rookie of the Year.
