Skyhawks Sweep Ursuline in Fourth Contest
Kissimmee, Fla. - The women took all nine events to sweep Ursuline College in Tuesday's match up. The Skyhawks (3-1, 0-0 Northeast-10 Conference) received six straight-set wins and two doubles shut-outs on their way to their third win of the season.
Allison Bleakney (Lewiston, Maine/Lewiston) defeated Mandy Benander, 6-0, 6-0 in fifth singles to improve to 4-0.
Daniella Granato (Concord, Mass./Concord
Carlisle) lost only game on her way to a 6-1, 6-0 win over Danielle
Robinson. Granato teamed with Samantha
Dircks (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) to capture a win
in first singles, 8-0, as well.
The Skyhawks will play Rollins tomorrow as their spring tour
continues.
