Women Blanked by Rollins, 9-0
Kissimmee, Fla. - One day
after defeating Ursuline College, 9-0, the Skyhawks (3-2, 0-0
Northeast-10 Conference) were on the losing end of a match sweep
from Rollins. The Skyhawks singles fell in straight sets to
Rollins. Doubles play was not much better for the Purple and
White - who were outplayed 24-2 in the contest.
Rollins' 9-0 meant the first loss the season for freshman
Lindsey Herchel (Hampden, Mass./Minnechaug
Regional), Allison Bleankey (Lewiston,
Maine/Lewiston) and Elise Clark (Spring Lake,
N.J./Saint Rose). Prior to today's match up, the three were a
combined 12-0 in singles action.
Stonehill wraps up their spring break tour tomorrow with a match against Martin Methodist.
