October 7, 1993 - Junior Jon Bruno had two goals and an assist in the Men's Soccer 3-1 win at UMass-Dartmouth.  Bruno's two goals broke the previous school record of 38 markers.  His five total points that day earned him the total points record, passing the prior mark of 81 points.

EASTON, Mass.-- Junior Allison Bleakney (Lewiston, Maine) was one of three winners in both singles and doubles play as Stonehill extended its Northeast-10 Conference women's tennis regular season winning streak to 16 straight with a 5-4 league dual-match triumph over Merrimack at the Ames Sports Complex.

Freshmen Lauren Rowinski (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) and Samantha Dircks (Stony Brook, N.Y.) joined Bleakney in posting a pair of wins for the host Skyhawks (5-2, 2-0 Northeast-10), as the duo teamed up for a victory at the number two doubles spot while notching triumphs at the number three and four singles positions, respectively. Bleakney posted a straight set win at number five singles and teamed up with freshman Jessica Schaaf (Old Lyme, Conn.) for an 8-3 win at number three doubles for Stonehill.

Junior Jessica Lamb (Pinckney, Mich.) and freshman Caitlin Dunn (Middleton, Mass.) each posted a pair of wins in the setback for the visiting Warriors (3-9, 0-4 Northeast-10), as the duo teamed up for a 9-8 triumph at number one doubles and claimed victories at the top two singles positions. Sophomore Nora Cahill (Gloucester, Mass.) netted Merrimack's other point of the match with a straight-set win at number six singles.

Stonehill hosts Bentley in a Northeast-10 dual-match on Thursday afternoon at the Ames Sports Complex beginning at 3:00 p.m., while Merrimack will be idle until March 30th when the Warriors head to Worcester, Mass. to take on Assumption in a Northeast-10 dual-match that begins at 3:30 p.m.
