EASTON, Mass.-- The Stonehill women's tennis team picked up its fourth straight victory and sixth win in seven decisions on the young season with an 8-1 Northeast-10 Conference dual-match triumph over Pace at the Ames Sports Complex.
Seniors Ashley Todd (Weymouth, Mass.) and Anna Walsh (Dennis, Mass.), along with sophomores Elise Clark (Spring Lake, N.J.), Daniella Granato (Concord, Mass.) and Allison Bleakney (Lewiston, Maine), each posted wins in singles and doubles play for the host Skyhawks (6-1, 3-0 Northeast-10), while senior Jennifer Arcabascio (Salem, N.H.) teamed with Granato for an 8-3 win at number one doubles.
Freshman Natalya Subotic (Bradenton, Fla.) posted the lone point of the day for the visiting Setters (1-5, 1-3 Northeast-10) with a straight set win at number one singles.
Stonehill will be idle until next Saturday afternoon when the Skyhawks host LeMoyne in a Northeast-10 dual-match on the Stonehill Courts beginning at 1:00 p.m., while Pace will host Bentley in a Northeast-10 outing on Saturday afternoon in Pleasantville, N.Y. that also begins at 1:00 p.m.
