EASTON, Mass.-- The Stonehill women's tennis team picked up its fifth straight victory and seventh win in eight outings on the season Saturday afternoon by notching an 8-1 Northeast-10 Conference dual-match triumph over LeMoyne at the Ames Sports Complex.
Seniors Jennifer Arcabascio (Salem, N.H.), Ashley Todd (Weymouth, Mass.) and Anna Walsh (Dennis, Mass.), along with sophomore Daniella Granato (Concord, Mass.), were all winners in both singles and doubles action for the host Skyhawks (7-1, 4-0 Northeast-10), who also received straight set singles victories from sophomores Elise Clark (Spring Lake, N.J.) and Allison Bleakney (Lewiston, Maine).
Senior Mallory Desimone (Clay, N.Y.) and sophomore Sabrina Megali (East Rochester, N.Y.) combined for an 8-3 victory at the number three doubles spot for the lone point of the afternoon for the visiting Dolphins (5-4, 4-2 Northeast-10).
Stonehill hosts American International in a Northeast-10 dual-match on Monday afternoon on the Stonehill Courts beginning at 3:00 p.m., while LeMoyne heads to Smithfield, R.I. on Sunday morning to take on Bryant in a league outing at 11:00 a.m.
