Women’s Soccer Stars Continued to be Honored

Lauren Boyd (Sandwich, Mass.) and Hilary Eckhardt (Marshfield, Mass.) were selected to the 2007 NSCAA/Adidas NCAA Division II Women All-New England Region team yesterday. The prestigious honor adds to a long list of awards the seniors have earned for their efforts last fall. Both women will graduate this spring.

Three Skyhawks Named to NEWISA All-New England Team

Stonehill College women’s soccer seniors Lauren Boyd, Hilary Eckhardt and Alex Eckhardt have been named to the 2007 New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Division II Team. The Skyhawks finished the season 8-7-3, 8-4-3 in conference play. They lost a 3-0 decision to Merrimack College in the first round of the conference tournament.

Boyd's Season Honored Again

Senior Lauren Boyd (Sandwich, Mass.) was named to the 2007 Division II Daktronics All-Region Women’s Soccer Second Team today. This is the second consecutive year Boyd has received All-Regional honors. Boyd, a criminology and sociology major, will graduate in the spring of 2008.
