November 8, 2003 - Stonehill College Equestrian finished with 42 points to win the Tufts University IHSA Horse Show held in Millis, Mass.  Boston University was Reserve High Point Team with 37 points.  Stonehill's Sarah Fillebrown captured the High Point Rider Award.

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (October 3, 2009) - Stonehill College bounced back from a string of three-straight one-goal losses to post a 1-0 victory over the University of New Haven in Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer action at Kayo Field this afternoon.

Sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Hickey (Lee, Mass./Lee) made four saves to post her second shutout of the season and classmate Kelsey Mahoney (Rehoboth, Mass./Dighton-Rehoboth) netted the lone goal of the match to lead Stonehill to victory.

Mahoney's goal came as the clock was winding down in regulation when she scooped up a loose ball before scoring her second goal of the season at 75:22. Hickey made three of her four stops in the second half to preserve the win and clean sheet.

Sophomore Kim Taylor (Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) finished with two saves in goal for New Haven who posted a 12-9 advantage in shots for the match.

Stonehill (5-7-0, 3-6-0 NE-10) is off until next Saturday when it hosts Saint Anselm College at 11 a.m. New Haven (6-5-2, 3-5-1 NE-10) hosts Le Moyne College on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
