May 4, 2006 - Senior Kalyn Healey, who helped Stonehill Equestrian capture the IHSA Collegiate Cup National Championship as a freshman in 2003, finished third in the individual open fences at the 2006 IHSA National Championship.  Healey's finish at the National Championships matched the highest for Stonehill individual.

Easton, Mass. - Reigning Northeast-10 Conference player of the week, Tricia Spada scored the game-winning for the 25th ranked Bryant Bulldogs with under seven minutes to play, thwarting a late Stonehill rally and lifting the Bulldogs to a 2-1 victory on Skyhawk Field.

Bryant led for most of the contest after Diane Pascale scored in the 26th minute with help from Sarah Donavan, the current freshman of the week in the Conference. Stonehill freshman Michele Norton (Abington, Mass.) had an answer of her own, scoring her first career goal in the 76th minute to knot the game at one.

Both goalkeepers logged all 90 minutes, with Bryant backstop Jessica Naeles turning away two shots, while Skyhawk netminder Alex Echardt (Marshfield, Mass.) stopped five shots.

The Skyhawks fall to 0-2 on the season and play their next three contests on the road beginning with Saturday's tilt at LeMoyne.
