January 4, 1995 - Michelle Doonan had a game-high 32 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists in the Stonehill Women's Basketball 86-71 win over Merrimack.  The victory marked the College's 31st consecutive win over the Warriors.  Later that week, Stonehill defeated Springfield to move to 10-0.  At the time, this was the school's best start ever.


Women Play Assumption to a 0-0 Tie

Worcester, Mass. - The women played Assumption College (4-11-2,  3-10-1 NE-10) to a scoreless tie Tuesday night in Worcester.  The game marks only the third time all season the girls have not scored a goal.  The tie moves the girls' record to 8-6-3, 8-3-3 in the Northeast-10 Conference.

Goaltender Alex Eckhardt (Marshfield, Mass.) had five saves.  In Stonehill's last three games she has only allowed one goal.  Senior Ashley Bourne (Brockton, Mass.) led the way for the Skyhawks with two shots on goal.

The women will conclude their regular season Friday, at Bridgeport.  The game is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
