IWLCA/US Announces All-American Teams

Four Skyhawks earned a spot on the 2008 IWLCA/US Division II All-American Team announced Thursday. Three Skyhawks, Liza Gross (Loudonville, N.Y./Shaker), Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) and Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) earned second team honors while defender Jaclyn Craig (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) claimed a spot on the first team.

Five Skyhawks earned a spot on the 2008 IWLCA Division II North Region Team announced Friday. Four Skyhawks, Liza Gross (Loudonville, N.Y./Shaker), Michelle Kelly (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham), Kristin Darrell (West Islip, N.Y./West Islip) and Jaclyn Craig (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point), earned first team honors while defender Kristyn Gramzow (Billerica, Mass./Billerica) claimed a spot on the second team.

Craig Named to Northeast-10 All-Academic Team

Sophomore Jaclyn Craig (Rocky Point, N.Y./Rocky Point) was selected to represent the Stonehill College Women’s Lacrosse team (14-3, 10-0 Northeast-10) on the 2008 Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic team. The Skyhawks, who claimed their tenth straight regular season title in April, defeated Southern N.H., 17-10, on Sunday to earn their ninth consecutive Northeast-10 Tournament Championship.
