Wetmore Helps North All-Star Squad Post 10-2 Victory Over South In 2007 IWLCA Division II Senior All-Star Game Over Weekend

Stonehill senior midfielder Emily Wetmore helped the North All-Star squad post a 10-2 victory over the South All-Stars on Saturday afternoon at the 2007 IWLCA Division II Senior All-Star Game played in Downingtown, Pa.
Wetmore registered a team-high three draw controls and added three ground balls in the triumph for the North squad, which was coached by C.W. Post's Karen MacCrate Henning as well as Stonehill Head Coach Michael Daly.
A native of Horseheads, N.Y., Wetmore registered a pair of goals in 18 matches for the Skyhawks this spring while adding 18 ground balls and six caused turnovers. She helped lead Daly's squad to an overall mark of 18-2, including a 10-0 mark in Northeast-10 Conference play as Stonehill captured its ninth straight regular season title and eighth consecutive tournament crown in the process. The Skyhawks earned their fifth berth in seven seasons in the NCAA Division II national championships, falling to eventual national champion C.W. Post in the North Region national semi-final on May 12th in Salem, Va.
