Stonehill to Host Pink Zone Event Saturday

EASTON, Mass. (February 8, 2010) – Stonehill College will host its annual Pink Zone event this Saturday, February 13, during its Northeast-10 Conference basketball doubleheader with Saint Michael’s College in Merkert Gymnasium. The women’s game tips off at 1:30 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 3:30 p.m.

UMass Lowell Defeats Stonehill, 80-69

LOWELL, Mass. (February 6, 2010) – The University of Massachusetts Lowell shot 50.8-percent from the field and handed head coach Kathy O’Neil her 400th career victory with an 80-69 decision over Stonehill College, among teams receiving votes in this week’s USA Today/ESPN/Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division II poll and third in the East Region, in Northeast-10 Conference women’s basketball action at the Costello Athletic Center this afternoon.

Rousseau Earns Academic All-District Honors

(February 4, 2010) – Stonehill College junior guard Emily Rousseau (Biddeford, Maine/Biddeford) has earned ESPN The Magazine District I College Division (Divisions II & III) Academic All-America honors for women's basketball, as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) members in New England and New York.
