April 28, 1985 - Stonehill Baseball repeated as Northeast-8 Champions on the arm of Steve Devine and Steve Adams.  Devine pitched the tournament clincher, striking out five in Stonehill's 6-3 win over Bryant.  In the game prior Adams pitched a five-hit shut out against a heavy hitting AIC team.

LaToya Thomas begins her first season at Stonehill after spending the previous year at Suffolk University in Boston.

A four-year letterwinner and captain of her team as a senior, Thomas appeared in 113 career games at Bentley and made four straight appearances in the NCAA Tournament.

She started all 33 contests in her final campaign and was second on team in steals, third in assists and rebounds, and fifth in scoring.

A native of Brockton, Mass., and a 2006 graduate of Bentley, Thomas holds a bachelor's degree in English.
