May 4, 2006 - Senior Kalyn Healey, who helped Stonehill Equestrian capture the IHSA Collegiate Cup National Championship as a freshman in 2003, finished third in the individual open fences at the 2006 IHSA National Championship.  Healey's finish at the National Championships matched the highest for Stonehill individual.

EASTON, Mass.-- Senior Angela Guarino (Stony Point, N.Y.) registered 12 kills to lead Pace to a 3-0 Northeast-10 Conference volleyball victory over Stonehill Friday evening by game scores of 30-23, 30-11 and 30-22 in a league match played at Merkert Gymnasium.

Sophomore Danielle Furka (Massapequa, N.Y.) added 20 digs, eight kills and six service aces in the triumph for the visiting Setters (10-16, 8-5 Northeast-10), who also received 23 set assists and eight digs from junior Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, Calif.).

Junior Rebekah Saunders (Gilford, N.H.) notched seven kills and three digs in the setback for the host Skyhawks (4-21, 2-10 Northeast-10), while sophomore Heidi Woerner (North Kingstown, R.I.) added six kills and five total blocks for Stonehill, which also received 23 set assists from freshman Kristen Hordern (Swansea, Mass.).

Stonehill hosts Southern Connecticut in a Northeast-10 outing on Saturday afternoon at Merkert Gymnasium beginning at 1:00 p.m., while Pace heads to Smithfield, R.I. on Saturday morning to take on Bryant in a Northeast-10 match that begins at 11:00 a.m.
