April 19, 2007 - Senior Andy DeVita was a winner in both singles and doubles action as second-seeded Stonehill presented Head Coach Peter Miller with his 200th career victory in a 5-0 dual-match triumph over seventh-seeded Pace in quarterfinal round play of the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Tennis Championships.


 
Senior Tyler Guilemette set a school record in the long jump last weekend

Skyhawk Trio Receive Conference Recognition 

Easton, Mass. - Senior Torrey Price (Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.) was named the men's track athlete of the week, while senior Tyler Guilemette (East Longmeadow, Mass.) was named the men's field athlete of the week by the Northeast-10 Conference.  Freshman Vlada Shelkova (Newington, Conn.) also earned women's freshman field athlete of the week, as announced by the conference on Monday. 

Price took home a first place finish in the 60 meter dash at the Harvard University Open, winning by one hundredth of a second, with a time of 6.94 seconds. 

Guilemette set a Stonehill record in the long jump at 22 ft. 8 in. and also finished second in the event. 

Shelkova finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.15 meters in her first contest of the season. 

Three other Skyhawks made the NE-10 Conference honor roll, in Lindsey Pinkham (Skowhegan, Maine), Dan Pilz (Newington, Conn.) and Joe D'Agostino (Canton, Mass.) for their performances over the weekend.
