April 12, 2006 - The Stonehill Women's Tennis team claimed their first outright Northeast-10 Conference Regular Season Championship in 14 years.  This honor, the College's fourth overall, came after the ladies swept a 9-0 dual-match decision from Southern New Hampshire in Manchester, N.H.

2008 (Junior): Appeared in 40 contests ... Batted .137 with 10 hits in 73 at-bats ... Led the team in hits by pitch (13) ... Went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI in a win over St. Anselm (4/17) ... Was 2-for-2 with two RBI in a win against St. Michael's (4/26) ... Smacked her second career homerun in a loss at Southern New Hampshire (4/27).

2007 (Sophomore): Started 36  games ... Batted .212 ... In 99 plate appearances scored three runs and had 21 hits ... Added seven doubles, one triple, and 11 RBI ... Rapped out a pair of doubles against LeMoyne (4/21).

2006 (Freshman): Started 37 games ... In 123 at-bats, compiled a .228 average ... Collected 28 hits and scored 21 runs ... Had one homerun and five RBI.

At St. Anthony's High School: Earned all-league honors in both junior and senior seasons ... Suffolk County Athlete of the week as a senior ... Also garnered all-league honors in volleyball ... Also earned letters in track and field.

Personal: Born Meghan Eileen Sheehy, September 29, 1987 in West Islip, N.Y ... Daughter of Kevin and Dawn Sheehy ... She has two sisters, Elizabeth (25) and Kathleen (10).
