February 16, 2002 - Matt Ellis set a school record in the Weight Throw at the Northeast-10 Championships with an outstanding 49'5" distance.  Ellis also claimed the school's Shot Put record earlier that season at the Terrier Classic with a 43'6" mark.

Tuesday's scheduled Northeast-10 Conference softball doubleheader between Stonehill and Merrimack that was to have been played at Warrior Field in North Andover, Mass. has been postponed due to inclement weather in the area. No re-scheduled date has been set as of yet for that twinbill.

Tuesday's baseball contest between Stonehill and American International at AIC Park in Springfield, Mass. will be played as scheduled beginning at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
