Hart brings over 25 years of coaching experience to Easton and has coached 11 All-Americans and over 20 New England champions.
During Hart's tenure the Skyhawks men and women have each won a pair of Northeast-10 and NCAA Northeast regional cross country crowns.
Runners for both the men's and the women's squads have run in the National Championships each of the last four years, with the men's team placing as high as tenth (2006) and the women placing as high as 17th (2006).
Prior to Stonehill, Hart served as an assistant track and field coach at Northeastern University from 1999-2004.
Hart, who also serves as an official, has directed several major events, including assisting with the 2006 NCAA Division II Championships and the first-ever track and field event hosted by Stonehill College in April of 2008.
In addition to his previous coaching experience, Hart also taught high school English, History and Theology from 1981-2007 at Boston area schools.
A 1981 graduate of the University of Connecticut, he and his
wife Rose reside in Norwood with their two children.
