North Easton, Mass. - Freshman Kevin Gill (Brockton, Mass.) has been named the Northeast-10's Cross Country Male Freshman of the Week it was announced by the Conference office on Monday.

The Skyhawks who participated in last week's Connecticut College Invitational and finished second, received a stellar performance from Gill, who crossed the line in 14th place with a time of 25:53, making him the first freshman out of the 73 who competed, to complete the 8K (five miles) race.

Joining Gill, is junior Kristina Coriaty (Brockton, Mass.) who took first place in the Connecticut College Invitational with a time of 22:24, a full seven seconds ahead of the race's second place finisher. Her time combined with two of her teammates who finished in the top-10, helped Stonehill placed second of 14 teams at the event.

Both Skyhawk teams return to action on Saturday when they take part in the Keene State Invitational.
