January 4, 1995 - Michelle Doonan had a game-high 32 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists in the Stonehill Women's Basketball 86-71 win over Merrimack.  The victory marked the College's 31st consecutive win over the Warriors.  Later that week, Stonehill defeated Springfield to move to 10-0.  At the time, this was the school's best start ever.

Skyhawks Fall To Queens in East Regional Final, 5-2

Flushing N.Y. - The Skyhawks led 2-1 after doubles play but dropped three singles matches to Queens, falling in their first East Regional Final 5-2 on Friday morning.The loss ends Stonehill's season at a school record 22-4 record.

Play looked promising for the Skyhawks early as the No. 1 doubles duo of Tim Fayed (Glastonbury, Conn) and Mike Mashkevich (Framingham, Mass) and the No. 3 team of Jason Allegretti (Lincoln, R.I.) and Will Herchel (Hampden, Mass.) won by matching 8-5 scores.

In singles play, Stonehill dropped the first set in each of their six singles.  Fayed rebounded taking his second set 6-1 but Allegretti, Herchel and Jon Burke (Wakefield, R.I.) went down 6-0, 6-0, 6-1 in their second sets, allowing Queens to capture the 5-2 victory.
