October 15, 1994 - Forward Jon Bruno claimed a school and Northeast-10 Conference Men's Soccer record by scoring seven goals in Stonehill's 9-0 win over Assumption College.  Bruno's performance also earned the College's record for most points scored in a single game (14). His 59 goals scored and 134 total points were career records.

Skyhawks Sweep Philadelphia 5-0, Advance To Regional Final

Flushing, NY - Stonehill College swept all three of the doubles matches on their way to a 5-0 win over Philadelphia University in the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis East Region. Wins by Jason Allegretti (Lincoln, R.I.) and Jon Burke (Wakefield, R.I.) at No. 4 and No. 6 singles clinched the match for the third seeded Skyhawks. 

The Skyhawks won the three doubles matches, 8-5, 8-2, 8-0 and No. 1, 2 and 3 doubles respectively, and victories by Allegretti and Burke extended Stonehll's winning streak to a school record 17. The win also marked the program's first victory in NCAA tournament play. 

With the win the Skyhawks improve to a school record 22-3 and advance to face the second seeded Knights of Queens College for the Region Championship tomorrow morning, May 8 at 9 a.m.
