Stonehill Outmatched by W.V. Wesleyan
Hilton Head, S.C. - The Stonehill College Men's Tennis team began the long trip back to Easton after losing 9-0 to West Virginia Wesleyan in the team's spring break finale. The Skyhawks will be anxious to return to New England, where they are 3-0 this season. The men's final loss drops them to 1-3 this spring.
The Skyhawks only won one set in nine matches. Junior William Herchel (Hampden, Mass./Minnechaug) took the first set of his fourth singles competition, 6-4, yet ended up falling 7-5, 10-4 to W.V. Wesleyan's Dennis Cole.
The men have 12 days off until their next game, a show down at Salem State.
