November 18, 2006 - Keith Gill, a junior on the Cross-Country team, was named the fourth All-America performer in school history.  With the honor Gill also became the first two-time All-America in Skyhawk, as he earned outdoor track All-America accolades this past spring in the 1500 Meter Run at the NCAA Championships held in Emporia, Kan.


Men Lose Second Straight, 5-4

Hilton Head, S.C. - The Stonehill College Men's Tennis team dropped two of their three doubles matches on their way to a 5-4 loss at the hands of Palm Beach Atlantic.  The Skyhawks drop to 3-2 overall with the loss.  It is the second time they have fallen 5-4.

Jason Allegretti (Lincoln, R.I./Lincoln) and William Herchel (Hampden, Mass./Minnechaug) teamed up for Stonehill's lone doubles victory of the day.  They defeated Paul Segodo and Frankie Moulton, 8-4.

Also, both Allegretti and Herchel went on claim victories at third and fourth singles, respectfully.

At sixth singles, John McGaffigan (Dedham, Mass./Dedham) earned his first victory of the season with a 5-7, 6-3, 10-8 win over Brett Gibson.
