Bloomsburg, Pa. -
The Skyhawks finish the weekend 2-1 after falling to Bloomsburg 9-0 at the team's home tournament.  The Stonehill College Men's tennis team (10-4, 4-0 Northeast-10 Conference) took two games on Saturday, but where outmatched when it came to Bloomsburg.

Freshman Tim Fayed (Glastonbury, Conn./Glastonbury) was the only Skyhawk to not fall in straight sets.  However, he still fell to the Huskies' Ryan Chow, 6-0, 6-4, 10-7.  The loss marks an end to Fayed's six-game unbeaten streak.

A number of Skyhawks saw their streaks end today too, including junior William Herchel (Hampden, Mass./Minnchaug), who stands at 10-4 after his 6-0 was broke.  Mike Leone (Cataumet, Mass./Bourne) suffered his first blemish of 2008 with a 3-6, 5-7 loss to Jeff Jeuhfer.  Leone, a sophomore, sported an undefeated record in both doubles and singles action before today's contest.

The men will return home to host Connecticut College on Tuesday.  The game is scheduled for 3:00 PM on the Stonehill Courts.
