April 27, 2003 - Senior Katie Lambert scored three goals in Stonehill's 9-8 win over Philadelphia University.  The scores brought Lambert's career total to a school-record 220 goals.  Lambert also graduated with the school record in assists (106) and points (326).



Junior goalkeeper Brandon McFarlane finished with seven saves today for the Skyhawks.

EASTON, Mass. (October 21, 2009) - Assumption College, ranked tenth in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas Division II East Regional poll, scored the lone goal in the 106th minute to claim a 1-0 double-overtime victory over Stonehill College in Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer action at Skyhawk Field today.

Freshman Dom Mondi (Peabody, Mass./Peabody) scored the lone goal of the match with 4:42 left in the second overtime period to lift Assumption to the win, handing Stonehill just its second home loss of the season (7-2-1) - both of which have come in double overtime. Mondi knocked in his seventh goal of the season on a deflection from inside the six.

Junior Brandan Sullivan (Halesite, N.Y./Saint Dominic) preserved his eighth shutout of the season (15th career) with 12 saves as Stonehill pressed for a winning goal to keep their postseason hopes alive. Junior Brandon McFarlane (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy) finished with seven stops in goal for the Skyhawks who posted an 18-9 advantage in shots for the match.

Stonehill (7-7-1, 3-7-1 NE-10) returns to action on Saturday when it visits No. 24 ranked Le Moyne College at 2 p.m. The Skyhawks return home on Wednesday for their final regular season match of the season against Saint Michael's College at 3:30 p.m. Assumption (9-5-2, 6-4-2 NE-10) visits Franklin Pierce University on Saturday at 2 p.m.
