December 19, 2005 - Sophomore Erika Stupinski dished out 15 assists in the Women's Basketball 84-63 win over Saginaw Valley State.  Stupinski's performance joined Chris Donovan (1985-86) and Denise West (1982-1983) as the College's single game assist leaders.


North Andover, Mass. - Stonehill wrapped up play in the Merrimack Invitational with a 0-0 tie against C.W. Post on Sunday afternoon.

Similar to the score, the teams were even on the field as well, with both teams getting off nine shots. However, all of the Pioneers scoring attempts came in regulation, while four of the Skyhawks attempts came in extra time.

Each team had excellent scoring chances, with Stonehill's coming late in the second overtime on a breakaway that was sent wide, while C.W. Post's best chance came in the 23rd minute when Julian Escobar put a shot off the crossbar.

Brian Guerrini (Glastonbury, Conn.) turned away five shots for the Skyhawks while Pioneers freshman keeperAyrton Haddad made three saves.

Stonehill returns to action on Wednesday when they face Northeast-10 foe Southern Connecticut on Skyhawk Field.
