May 17, 1985 - Senior Joe Kelly was named Northeast-8 Conference Baseball Player of the Year. Kelly, an outfielder, hit .392 with seven homeruns and 20 RBIs.  He also scored 39 runs, stole 14 bases, walked 25 times and was errorless in the field in 49 chances.  Stonehill, which captured both regular season and conference tournament crowns, dominated the first team roster with four players selected.

At Woburn High School: Four time letterwinner ... Won letters in basketball and baseball ... Voted captain of all three teams ... Received All-Star honors in all three sports ... Named to the All-State team in soccer ... Two time Eastern Mass. All-Star ... Member of Nation Honor Society ... Volunteered in Hurricane Katrina Service.
