Stonehill to Host Pink Zone Event Saturday

EASTON, Mass. (February 8, 2010) – Stonehill College will host its annual Pink Zone event this Saturday, February 13, during its Northeast-10 Conference basketball doubleheader with Saint Michael’s College in Merkert Gymnasium. The women’s game tips off at 1:30 p.m., with the men’s game to follow at 3:30 p.m.

Stonehill Holds Off UMass Lowell, 68-60

LOWELL, Mass. (February 6, 2010) – Stonehill College, among teams receiving votes in this week’s National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II poll and ranked second in the NCAA East Regional rankings, moved back into sole possession of first place in the Northeast-10 standings with a 68-60 victory over the University of Massachusetts Lowell, ranked fourth in the region, in men’s basketball action at Costello Athletic Center this afternoon.

Rudowitz Earns Academic All-District First Team Honors

EASTON, Mass. (February 4, 2010) – Stonehill College senior forward A.J. Rudowitz (Monroe Township, N.J./Monroe Township) has earned ESPN The Magazine District I College Division (Divisions II & III) Academic All-America honors for men's basketball, as selected by College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) members in New England and New York. With his first team selection, Rudowitz is now eligible for Academic All-America selection by the CoSIDA Academic All-America committee.
