February 28, 2007 - Matt Curran found the back of the net four times to defeat Assumption, 6-2, in the Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Championship Semi-Finals.  Curran's fourth score marked his 29th goal of the year, passing the College's previous single-season record of 28 goals.  Curran went on to record 30 goals that season.

Joe Bellew enters his first season as assistant coach of the Skyhawks.   

A defensemen throughout his career, he graduated in 2001 from Hingham High School as part of the Division I State Championship team.  He then moved on to Liberty University where he played four years of hockey and earned a Business Finance degree. 

He was awarded Defenseman of the Year in three consecutive seasons as amember of the Flames, where he served as team captain in both his junior and senior years. 

Bellew played professionally in Quebec for the Thetford Mines Pro Lab team and was offered a contract to play with the team in Canada for the 2005-2006 season. 

The President of Bellew Tile and Marble in Rockland, Mass, he resides in Hingham with his wife, Carla.
