May 24, 2003 - Three players from the Stonehill's 2003 Division II NCAA Championship team received Warrior/Lacrosse All-America accolades.  Collette Carpenter, who finished with 31 goals and 29 assists, earned Midfielder of the Year.  Carissa Medeiros claimed Goaltender of the Year for finishing with 133 goals allowed (6.17 GAA).  After scoring nine goals in the NCAA Championship tournament, freshman Erin Acone took Rookie of the Year honors.

Cantin Named NE-10 Player Of The Week 

Easton, Mass. - Junior Zachary Cantin (Saugus, Mass.) was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Monday. 

Cantin registered his first career hat trick, scoring in every period during the Skyhawks 8-5 win over Suffolk on Saturday.  The junior also scored one goal in a 4-3 OT win over Wentworth. 

He is the second player to receive the honor this season. Senior James Florentino (West Roxbury, Mass.) was named Player of the Week on December 12. 

Three other Skyhawks were named to the NE-10 Honor Roll, in freshmen Andrew Diozzi (Belmont, Mass.) and Bill Harris (Weymouth, Mass.) as well as senior captain Brendan O'Brien (Braintree, Mass.). 

Stonehill returns to action on Monday night when they host Salve Regina 7 p.m., as they look to extend their winning streak to five games.
