October 15, 1994 - Forward Jon Bruno claimed a school and Northeast-10 Conference Men's Soccer record by scoring seven goals in Stonehill's 9-0 win over Assumption College.  Bruno's performance also earned the College's record for most points scored in a single game (14). His 59 goals scored and 134 total points were career records.

Milton, Mass. - Two goals and two assists from Curry's Jeffrey Hazelwood led to a 9-0 victory over the Skyhawks Tuesday night.  With the win Curry College improved to 6-1-1 on the season.  The loss drops Stonehill to 1-4-1. 

Curry started the scoring early in the first period when Alexander Laseen scored just five minutes into the game.  Jason Yuel followed Laseen's score with one of his own just two minutes later to give the host team a 2-0 advantage.

Their offense would continue to roll, scoring five goals in the second period.  Four minutes into the period Matt Curran (Scarborough, Maine) was called for tripping leading to a Curry power play goal from Hazelwood.  Ross Enmark would score with both teams at full strength to increase Curry's lead to four. 

A short handed goal from James Pentecost would start a six minute period where Curry would strike three times.  Tim Grace and William Hoffman also added markers. 

With the score 7-0, Stonehill pulled freshman goaltender Pete Lucchesi (Syracuse, N.Y) in favor of Mike Manna (Framingham, Mass.).  Lucchesi collected 26 saves in 40 minutes.

James Pentecost and Jeffery Hazelwood would each score early in the final period to extend their lead to nine.  Curry outshot Stonehill 47-25 on the night.

The Skyhawks will return home to take on the Johnson & Wales Wildcats Thursday night at the Bridgewater Ice Arena.  Game time is scheduled for 7:50 PM.
