January 17, 1998 - Stonehill Men's Basketball's 10-game winning streak was snapped by Bentley College in an 83-79 loss.  In defeat however, Shaun Fein claimed the College's record after connecting on nine 3-pointers.

First-year head coach Shelly Morris has the Skyhawks set to host a Northeast-10 Quarterfinal game on Wednesday.

Stonehill Gets 2-0 Win And Home Playoff Game

Manchester, N.H. - Stonehill scored two goals before halftime and then held on for a 2-0 win in their final regular season game of the 2008 season.

With the win, the Skyhawks clinch a home game on Wednesday, October 29 at 3 p.m. in the quarterfinal round of the Northeast-10 Championship. Yet to be determined is whether Stonehill will be the No. 3 or No. 4 seed. At 12-7 overall and 12-6 in Northeast-10 play, the Skyhawks sit a half of a game ahead of Southern Connecticut, who play tomorrow at Merrimack. The Owls swept the season series with Stonehill and defeated Merrimack 5-1 earlier this season.

Stonehill will host either Franklin Pierce (if they secure the No. 3 seed) or St. Michael's (if they secure the No. 4 seed).

Last year the Skyhawks host St. Michael's in a game that went to overtime before the Purple Knights pulled out the victory on a goal by Andrea Slaven.
