Easton, Mass. - Behind a seven save performance from sophomore netminder Courtney Osier and timely scoring from classmate Lindsey Pinkham (Skowhegan, Maine), Stonehill won its fourth straight contest, this one a nail biting 1-0 triumph over visiting Franklin Pierce on Saturday afternoon.

Unlike their two previous matches, which were 6-1 wins over American International and Merrimack, this match went down to the wire with Pinkham providing the difference maker off a pass from Claire Hourihan (East Amherst, N.Y.) at the 57:55 mark.

The Skyhawks, which opened the season under new head coach Shelly Morris at 0-4, have righted their ship to move to 4-4 overall and 4-3 in Northeast-10 action. During the four game stretch, Stonehill has outscored its opponents 16-3 to climb back into the thick of the Conference race.

Osier meanwhile posted her second career shutout and picked up her fifth career victory.

For Stonehill, the rest of the schedule looks favorable, as seven of their final 11 contests will be played at home beginning with Wednesday night's tilt with Assumption.
