Rindge, N.H. - Junior midfielder Jackie Ladino (North Dartmouth, Mass.) continued her offensive outburst, scoring three goals in the second half on Saturday afternoon to lead No. 9 Stonehill to a 6-1 victory over Franklin Pierce at Sodexo Field on Saturday.

Stonehill opened the scoring a little over 12 minutes into the first half when senior Kerri Sullivan (Goffstown, N.H.) was able to slip a pass behind the Franklin Pierce defense to classmate Laura Nimon (Gardiner, Maine) who redirected home her sixth goal of the season at the 12:12 mark to give Stonehill a 1-0 lead.

Franklin Pierce evened the score at 1-1 with just 3:40 remaining in the opening frame when Ashley Moirano picked up her fifth goal of the season and fourth in as many games as she poked home her own rebound amidst a scramble in front of the net.

The second half was all Stonehill, however, as the Skyhawks scored five times led by Ladino's three tallies. She posted her first just 2:33 into the frame off a feed to the right side from junior Claire Hourihan (East Amherst, N.Y.).

After 10 scoreless minutes, Sullivan would notch her third and fourth goals of the season just 1:12 apart to add to her first-half assist and give Stonehill a 4-1 lead. Sullivan's first goal came unassisted off a rebound in front of the cage while her second came from the high slot off a feed from the right side by sophomore Michaela Deasy (North Falmouth, Mass.)

Ladino tacked on two insurance goals with 2:26 and 1:29 remaining to notch the hat trick with her ninth and tenth goals of the season, respectively. The second of the pair was unassisted while the first came off a pass from freshman Hayley O'Brien (Boxborough, Mass.).

Stonehill dominated the second half to the tune of a 16-1 shots advantage, which allowed the Skyhawks to enjoy a 19-6 edge over the full 70 minutes.

Sophomore goalkeeper Courtney Osier (South Dennis, Mass.) made three saves in front of the Stonehill cage to earn the victory, while Ravens' freshman Kristin Tormollan turned aside seven shots for Franklin Pierce in defeat.

Stonehill returns to action on Oct. 22 at Assumption.
