North Easton, Mass. - After an explosive offensive week, Stonehill's all-time leading scorer claimed her first Northeast-10 player of the week award this season it was announced earlier this week.
Senior Caitlin Gleason (New Boston, N.H.) scored five goals in three games last week, including a three goal performance in the Skyhawks' 3-0 win over host Southern Connecticut.
In a 5-0 win on senior night over Merrimack, Gleason had a goal and an assist on Jackie Ladino's (North Dartmouth, Mass.) sixth goal of the season.
Gleason, who enters the Northeast-10 postseason tournament with 53 career goals and 132 points, also had a tally in the 3-2 overtime loss to UMass-Lowell.
Stonehill, the No. 4 seed in the upcoming tournament, host No. 5 St. Michael's Wednesday, at 3:30 p.m. at W.B. Mason Stadium.
