May 15, 2005 - After defeating Adelphi, 16-10, Stonehill Women's Lacrosse advanced to the 2005 NCAA National Championship to face West Chester University of Pennsylvania.  Senior Colby Confer registered three goals while rookie Kristin Darrell added two scores and an assist in Stonehill's 13-10 win.  The victory marked the team's second National Championship in three years.
