April 19, 2007 - Senior Andy DeVita was a winner in both singles and doubles action as second-seeded Stonehill presented Head Coach Peter Miller with his 200th career victory in a 5-0 dual-match triumph over seventh-seeded Pace in quarterfinal round play of the 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Tennis Championships.

Michael Furey, a former outside linebacker and three-year letterwinner at Stonehill, is in his third season on the coaching staff, his second as defensive backs coach.

In 2007, when he served as a defensive assistant, Furey helped guide a Skyhawk defense that finished second in the Northeast-10 in scoring defense and first in turnover margin.

The 2005 team co-captain, Furey was a three-time recipient of the Mike Carr Chieftain Award, and was named the Most Improved Defensive Player in 2004.

Furey, who graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology, resides in South Boston.
